Christmas is just around the corner. If you still need to shop for the writers in your life, I have some gift suggestions for you. These suggestions, of course, also work for birthdays and other special occasions!
No. 1: Trashy Thoughts Journal

The trashy thoughts journal is homemade by a local to me couple, YetiAndBooCreations. I love this journal and had picked up mine at our local farmers market. Each one is completely unique and uses recycled paper of all varieties. My journal contains craft pages, pages from a Peter Cotton story, envelopes, scrap notebook paper, a blank greeting card, and a pouch made out of a The Republic of Tea package.
I simply love this journal. It is fun, unique, and just a treat. The only downside is this journal is so nice that I have a difficult time actually writing in it because whatever goes in it has to be perfect.
No. 2: The Emotion Thesaurus And Its Companions

I absolutely love “The Emotion Thesaurus” by Becca Puglisi and Angela Ackerman, and it has become my go-to when I’m struggling to get the right feel I’m going for with a certain emotion, or it will at least get my creative juices going. I have not tried any of the other books within The Descriptive Thesaurus Collection; however, I have heard great things about them from other writers. I am wanting to pick up more of them myself. They can be found at Amazon.com or Writers Helping Writers.
No. 3: Tea

If your writer loves tea, definitely check out CulinaryTeas.com. They have a lot of different varieties. In particular, I am a fan of their Rainbow Rooibos. This caffeine-free tea smells heavenly and tastes kind of like a cupcake, at least to me. I have also enjoyed their Ginger Bounce Rooibos, Pumpkin Spice Tea, and Canadian Ice Wine Tea. There are also tons of teas on this website that are on my to-try list. Culinary Teas also has several gift collections available to choose from.
No. 4: Coffee
I’m going to pimp out another local-to-me business: The Refinery Coffee Company, which offers a wide variety of single origin coffees as well as blends from around the globe. Every mug I’ve tried has been fabulous, and I’m particularly partial to the Toasted Southern Pecan and Blueberry Muffin. Definitely, treat your favorite writer to a quality brew if they like coffee.
No. 5: Mugs Fit For A Writer
Finally, we get to the fun mugs (Your favorite writer will need something to put all that tea and coffee in). There are so many to choose from, but here are few that I thought were particularly clever with there URLs.

One day, I’m going to get a cute writer mug. I’m always seeing them online. 😀
